Solar Fire Starter Pocket Magnifying Glass

The Fire Starter Card solar fire starter is a great back up fire starter and will fit practically anywhere. This transparent card is a pocket magnifier that is small, flat, light and inexpensive. Some practice is required and of course, one needs a sunny day for it to work, but as it is a solar fire starter it also never runs out of fuel or a spark like other fire starting devices. We do not recommend this as a primary fire starting tool, as previously mentioned as a solar fire starter its limited by sunlight but as an addition to an already supplied kit when it comes to fire starting methods if you have two you have one, if you have one you have none, which is why we recommend no less than three different methods of fire starting in any kit.

Our solar fire starter card is made of optical pvc, is .4mm thick and weighs 5.5 grams. In short, it is the size of a very thin credit card making it one of the smallest and most lightweight fire starting methods in existence.
