The Ventraflow mid-layer castellated foam allows for the most superior immersion and envelopment of the bony prominences and vulnerable body areas, whilst increasing airflow which helps keep the mattress cool and optimizes surface temperature. The Airoform Response Immersion foam on the mattress surface is soft, yet highly responsive foam, preventing any unnecessary sinking or restriction of movement. The 4-way rotational core allows for both ease of care, particularly with disorientated patients and ensures that comfort is a constant. All foams used in the FM6 are fire retardant, meeting BS5852 Source 5 Specifications as well as maintaining a high standard of anti-microbial protection and hygiene. The welded, fully sealed & enclosed cover further ensures the safety of both carer and user, whilst enhancing the infection control properties of the mattress.
